Insulated Flyover Roof Patio with Aluminium Privacy Screens

Our Rockhampton team worked closely with our clients. The design is an outdoor roofing solution that provides ample protection from the elements. Our team also needed to ensure the increased protection didn’t compromise on light, airflow and the overall usability of the outdoor space.
To help manage the summer heat, our insulated roofing panels were mounted directly to the steel roof. Flyover roofing allows an overlap of the roof lines which protects from sun and rain while allowing air to circulate.
The reverse pitch (angle) roof provides a wide opening from all sides of the garden and makes the space look and feel larger. Given the open design, privacy was maintained with the introduction of aluminium screening.
With careful consideration, Merbau/Kwila posts were used to tie in the natural look and feel of the backyard. The trims were colour-matched to the existing roof and the surfmist ceilings add the feel of openness to the patio.
