With spring in the air, our lovely customers with Glen Waverley wanted to get a head start on preparing their outdoor area for the warmer months.
Speaking with our Melbourne team, they knew they wanted a new verandah that offered plenty of protection from the elements. The flexibility to adjust according to weather was also very important. With the brief clearly outlined, our designers came up with a louvred verandah that would provide plenty of versatility year-round.
The opening roof spans 5.5m wide and 3.3m deep. The roof is made up of 2 sections of fully adjustable louvres meaning each side can be adjusted independently.
The central bulkhead features energy-efficient LED downlights with integrated wiring. The wiring for the lighting and louvre controls are hidden to keep visual clutter to an absolute minimum. The roof is supported by 100 x 100 aluminium posts finished in Jasper. The louvres are pearl white for maximum natural light regardless of their setting and angle. Combined, the colour scheme matches the home perfectly and is sure to a family-favourite when it comes to entertaining.
